Recuerdo en los años setenta (y todavía a principio de la década del ochenta)haber visto en revistas y libros solo fotos muy borrosas o de baja calidad del "Temible" MiG-25 según fuentes occidentales de inteligencia, sin embargo a casi 50 años de su primer vuelo y mas de 40 de su entrada en servicio la aviación rusa y la argelina siguen operando el MiG-25R/PD, todavía hoy goza de unas prestaciones sin igual, me pregunto que habría pasado de seguir un programa de actualización y puesta al día, cambios en los radares controles electrónicos para mejorar el consumo su motor, sistemas de re-abastecimiento en el aire, mejoras en sus equipos de contra-medidas de guerra electrónica, cabina de "cristal" mas ergonómica, siempre quedara la duda pero uno observa las actualizaciones en cazas como el F-15 y el F-16 que los mantienen en producción y con buena salud de cara al futuro, hasta el modesto MiG-21 ha sido actualizado por rusos e israelíes sin mencionar a los MiG producidos hasta hace poco por los chinos.
