On September 4, 1985, HMAS Albatross, Nowra, photographed most of the Grumman Tracker fleet, recently decommissioned from the Navy.
Rumors circulating at the time were that the Trackers were being prepared for sale to the United States and would depart as soon as crews were available to carry out the transfer flight.
