En la Alianza Francesa están los nombres de los combatientes franceses q vivían en argentina al momento de la guerra y q viajaron como combatientes voluntarios. Habría q buscar quizás en internet estén.

Tambien hubo cantidad de combatientes argentinos que fueron de voluntarios a Francia, Italia y en menor numero(debido al bloqueo inglés) para Alemania y Austr-Hungría. Descendiente de inmigrantes de esas nacionalidades que fueron a pelear por el pais de sus ancestros.Esto sirvio de inspiracion al escritor español Vicente Blazco Ibañéz (que por otra parte estaba enoamorado de la Argentina de aquellos tiempos) -y describio esto muy bien en un libro que se lama "Los Cuatro Jinetes del Apocalipse"-obra llevada a la panttalla pro Hollywood en dos ocasiones c. 1922 con Rodolfo Valentino, y 1962 con Glenn Ford, Paul Lukacs, Paul Heinreid, Charles Boyer...

Les apuesto algo a que no encuentran ningún PEREZ, ningún GOMEZ, ningún MARTINEZ en esa lista! Está claro que esos hombres, o la gran mayoría de ellos habían venido del UK o sus padres lo habían hecho, y se sentían más británicos que argentinos.

Pero no británico, que es de lo que estábamos hablando. Si vamos al caso, no vas a encontrar ningún apellido, o muy escasos, de origen argentino.

Quiza ese Duhalde se identifico bien con su pais de origen (francia) mas bien que con su raza (vasca) y se mando a pelear, igualmente eagle muchos apellidos argentinos puros no hay creo.

También hubo argentinos, los que conozco directamente, primera generación de españoles que combatieron para el Eje...Específicamente Alemania, un tío mío entre ellos...(División Azul).

hablando de esto..alguien por casualidad tiene un mapa del imperio austro hungaro o el norte de italia a fines del siglo 19? quiero consultar a ver si parte de mi familia era italiana o era austriaca...por que hablar , hablaban italiano jeje

Acaso has conocido a gente de ese tipo" por ciera algunos de estos veteranos para hacer tal afirmacion? Por xcierto, no llegue a conoocer a anglo-argentinos veteranos de la la 1a. Guerra, pero si a a por lo menos una veintena de los que sirvieron en la RAF, Royal Navy 8th Army-(North Afria, Sicily) etc)-y se consideraban bien argentinos.y enviaban al hospital a quien lo dudase ..y tambien recuerdo que por estupideces como esa que has dicho uno de los integrantes de "Firme Volamos" dejo de participar en este foro...piensa antes de decir cosas asi, a la violeta....

Como dato adicional, mas de 40.000 italo argentinos (otras cifran indicam 60.000) se enlistaron en las fuerzas italianas. en la 1a. Guerra Mundial...
