Maniobra utilizada en pistas donde se presume alta presencia de aves en las inmediaciones y consiste en el despegue de la aeronave con postquemador o afterburner, para una vez con velocidad, comenzar una montada progresiva de hasta 30 grados nariz arriba, con el objetivo de ascender rápidamente y de esta forma evitar algún impacto con las aves.

Contracts For April 3, 2023​


AIR FORCE
L-3 Harris Technologies, Palm Bay, Florida, has been awarded a $584,000,000 ceiling, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for production, engineering services, and repair support for the ALQ-211(V) 4, (V) 8, (V) 9 Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suite (AIDEWS). This contract provides for AIDEWS block cycle software development, engineering support, technical orders, system integrity and travel. Work will be performed at Clifton, New Jersey, and is expected to be completed April 2, 2028. This contract involves Foreign Military Sales to Pakistan, India, Poland, Chile, Oman, Turkey, Iraq, and Morocco. This contract was a sole-source acquisition. The first order will obligate a total of $2,072,128 and will utilize Special Defense Acquisition Funds. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, is the contracting activity (FA8523-23-D-0001).
