KABUL, Afghanistan -- A collection of Mi-17's and Mi-35 helicopters and C-27 and AN-32 Fixed Wing Craft take part in an air show in celebration of Victory Day on April 28, 2010 in Kabul, Afghanistan.
KANDAHAR AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (Sept. 18, 2011) -- Members of the 2nd Afghan National Civil Order Police rehearse their security posture around an MI-17 helicopter from the Afghan Air Force’s Kandahar Air Wing as the two units prepare to conduct a training air assault on Texas Hilo Range here Sept. 18. Each of the units have been working with Task Force Thunder (159th Combat Aviation Brigade) to increase their capabilities, and this training mission marks the first time two Afghan forces have worked together with this level of integration.
