Grecia enviará varios buques de guerra y aviones de combate a Chipre tras los ataques iraníes. Se enviarán dos fragatas de la Armada Helénica: una de ellas, la flamante fragata francesa FDI HN HS Kimon (F-601).

The Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, announced today the submission for opinion to the Parliament's Special Standing Committee on Armament Programs and Contracts of several programs with a total value of €5 billion. These programs encompass the upgrade of the MEKO-class frigates, the modernization of 38 F-16 Block 50 fighter jets to the Viper configuration, the acquisition of new air defense systems of various ranges, the follow-on support (FOS) for the C-27J Spartan transport aircraft and the facilities for the future F-35A aircraft.
