Aquí hay algo de un ofrecimiento, pero para cuando queden liberados en el 2009

"As the surviving S-3 airframes were forced into sundown a Lockheed Martin full scale fatigue test was performed extending the service life approximately 11,00 hours the Navy plans call for the retirement of all Vikings by 2009 so new aircraft can be introducted to recapitalize the fleet. Their missions will be spread among the other battlegroup fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft. During FIDAE 2006 aerospace and defense trade show, the US Navy offered retired airframes to the navies of Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Peru, with deliveries beginning in 2009."
Y mientras buscaba eso, me encontre con esto, que yo no estaba ni enterado, SH-2F para argentina (se ve que en algún momento, así como los famosos AH-1 cancelados, también se negociaron los SH-2F):
"In 1991 Kaman delivered the first production SH-2G aircraft to the US Navy. SH-2G Super Seasprite is powered by two T700-GE-401 turboshafts each rated at 1,723-shp. The latest Seasprite variant features state-of-the-art and is capable of firing advanced weapons such as Penguin anti-ship missile and AGM-65 Maverick. SH-2F was sold to the United States, Argentina and New Zealand. SH-2G was sold to Australia (SH-2G(A)), New Zealand (SH-2G(NZ)) and Egypt (SH-2G(E)). The United States Navy purchased new built SH-2Gs along with retrofitted aircraft from existing SH-2Fs."
