Como anécdota, como la mayoría sabe las baterías rinden mucho menos en climas fríos. La razón técnica se la dejo a alguno mas experto, yo lo único que se es que cargando las dos baterías a tope la noche anterior, al día siguiente cuando prendía la cámara ya me marcaba un 70% de carga disponible y bajaba MUY rápido. Así que la única que me quedo fue guardar la batería extra en algún lugar calentito e ir cambiándolas...como no había muchos lugares calentitos en la plataforma, durante algunos días casi sufro de electrocucion testicular en manos de una bateria Nikon
Pero como dice Juanma, no me queje...aeronauticamente hablando, fue la mejor de mi vida y ni hablar de los atardeceres con nieve en la plataforma!

En unas pocas horas se cumplen 41 años del Mirage IIIEA en la Argentina.

No me sorprendería ver una foto de un F-1 con el eslogan 40 años en la FAA en el 2053.

En la reciente visita a la ESFA de Fede2008 y su Esposa,tuve el grato momento de mostrarles el próximo monumento-cenotafio a los SSDDAA Mirage III EA e IAI DAGGER M5,que hemos encarado con mucho esfuerzo en el Instituto de Formación de Personal Militar Subalterno de la FAA.
Teniendo como ejemplos a seguir otros monumentos-cenotafios en la USAF y con la experiencia adquirida por nuestros Arquitectos y el personal del Servicio Conservación de Instalaciones,se diseñó el próximo monumento.

Obtenido un plano de un delta,explique mi requerimiento e iniciativa a un joven Arquitecto de la ESFA que diseñó,un doble triangulo,el vertical,el plano y el inferior en recubrimiento en pórfido negro,representando el mar.
El plano representará a los dos SSDDAA,el extrados al SDA IAI DAGGER y estará pintado con el esquema tradicional y la línea amarilla de avión amigo.El intradós será M-III EA,con su color específico,y llevará un tanque supersónico y un SHAFRIR.
Tanto el extrados e intradós llevaran los dos escudos de los escuadrones y las Islas Malvinas.
Por delante en un cubo de cristal un casco y máscara de oxigeno ,rematará el angulo de unión del plano con el recubrimiento.Será iluminado con sendos apliques de led y el plano tendrá la iluminacion estandart de luces de navegación.

En la reciente visita a la ESFA de Fede2008 y su Esposa,tuve el grato momento de mostrarles el próximo monumento-cenotafio a los SSDDAA Mirage III EA e IAI DAGGER M5,que hemos encarado con mucho esfuerzo en el Instituto de Formación de Personal Militar Subalterno de la FAA.
Teniendo como ejemplos a seguir otros monumentos-cenotafios en la USAF y con la experiencia adquirida por nuestros Arquitectos y el personal del Servicio Conservación de Instalaciones,se diseñó el próximo monumento.

Obtenido un plano de un delta,explique mi requerimiento e iniciativa a un joven Arquitecto de la ESFA que diseñó,un doble triangulo,el vertical,el plano y el inferior en recubrimiento en pórfido negro,representando el mar.
El plano representará a los dos SSDDAA,el extrados al SDA IAI DAGGER y estará pintado con el esquema tradicional y la línea amarilla de avión amigo.El intradós será M-III EA,con su color específico,y llevará un tanque supersónico y un SHAFRIR.
Tanto el extrados e intradós llevaran los dos escudos de los escuadrones y las Islas Malvinas.
Por delante en un cubo de cristal un casco y máscara de oxigeno ,rematará el angulo de unión del plano con el recubrimiento.Será iluminado con sendos apliques de led y el plano tendrá la iluminacion estandart de luces de navegación.

El dia 17 de septiembre se terminó de hormigonar la base,solo resta colocar el pórfido por arriba y revocar los laterales,para que llegue el Equipo de Restauración y lije las superficies,aplique primer y luego el esquema que los identifica a los SSDDAA de los deltas.Estimamos su finalización dentro de 21 días,los informaré a diario de su avance....cuando pasen por la RUTA 2O lo verán e iluminado durante la noche

Imaginate que tengo mas de 6500 hs de vuelo en CNBR,SIGINT,SKY BLUE,todas las versiones de los B-707 y también en todas las veriones del noble Hércules C-130....pero.... esto lo hacemos por nuestras 55 estrellas del cielo de la FAA que no reconocen tipos de planos,ni hélices y sopletes...
