BALTOPS 2015

A U.S. Air Force B-52H Stratofortress leads a flight of four Swedish JAS-39 Gripens June 11, 2015, during a Baltic Operations 2015 mission over the Baltic Sea. The aircraft took part in multiple missions throughout the exercise, including Mk-62 Quickstrike mine drops and naval support functions. During this part of the exercise, the two airframes practiced aircraft intercepts and formation flights to hone skills between pilots from different countries. B-52 Stratofortress deployment to RAF Fairford

A B-52 Stratofortress assigned to the 5th Bomb Wing at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., arrives at Royal Air Force Fairford, England, June 5, 2015. During the short-term deployment, three Minot-based B-52 bombers, supported by more than 330 Air Force Global Strike Command Airmen, conducted training flights with ground and naval forces around the region and participated in multinational exercises Baltops 2015 and Saber Strike 2015, over international waters in the Baltic Sea and the territory of the Baltic states and Poland. Fairchild, McConnell tankers fuel NORAD exercise

The annual North American Aerospace Defense Command exercise affords American and Canadian forces field training aimed at improving NORAD's operational capability in a binational environment. The exercise spanned two forward operating locations in Canada’s Northwest Territories, two U.S. Air Force bases in Alaska, and a mobile radar site in Resolute, Nunavut, as well as the sky over much of NORAD’s area of responsibility. Ese 47 necesita un cambio de aros de manera urgente!
Estimado Argos
El B-47 estaba equipado con turborreactores G.E. J-47 cuyas caracteristicas visibles era su estela de JP-4 quemado en los despegues a màxima potencia.Era un diseño post SGM (1948).
