Randy Simmons and Senior Airmen Benjamin David, Steven Campos and Matthew Easton push a fresh B-52 Stratofortress tire toward its mount April 7 at a forward-deployed location. Two or three of the 500-pound tires get changed each day. The old tire is removed and then bled of its air. The new four-foot tall tire is then mounted in place.
