During what will be a new edition of the Dubai Airshow, taking place from November 17 to 21, the state corporation Rostec has announced that it will showcase the stealth fighter Su-57E and the new variant of the Yak-130 to the public, as well as a wide range of additional products manufactured by the company. The occasion stands out as it will mark the first time that the fifth-generation aircraft is presented in the Middle East—a stage where it will also participate in flight demonstrations to display its capabilities—while for the training platform, this will be its debut at an international event.

Addressing the matter, Sergey Chemezov, who serves as CEO of the state corporation Rostec, stated: “The Dubai Airshow is one of the main global venues where current trends in aviation and defense are defined. As always, we have new developments to show and offer to the global community, both in the military and civil sectors. I am sure there will be surprises, as this year we will present several new products for the Middle East (…) The advantages of our aircraft lie in the fact that they do not depend on foreign components, as well as in their advanced performance characteristics and an extensive operational track record that speaks for itself.”
Regarding the Yak-130M aircraft, the official statement indicated that it is a platform manufactured by the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), which is characterized by incorporating new sensors and the capability to deploy new weaponry compared to the previous model. According to the company, this design is specifically intended for the training of pilots assigned to fly fourth- and fifth-generation aircraft, as well as for attack and interception missions that employ the platform in its light fighter configuration.
For its part, as mentioned in the initial lines, the already well-known Su-57 fighters will be the star product that Rostec will exhibit during the event, with acrobatic flight displays planned to demonstrate to attendees their maneuverability and the wide range of weapons they can carry. In addition, the company will seek to reaffirm it as the only fifth-generation aircraft that has proven its capabilities in large-scale combat—something these fighters have been doing since the beginning of the war in Ukraine.

Finally, it is worth noting that the upcoming edition of the Dubai Airshow will also be an opportunity for Rostec to present its new Ansat-M light multipurpose helicopters, as well as the Ka-52 attack and reconnaissance helicopters. In addition, it has been detailed that in the static displays, attendees will also be able to see up close the Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft and the Ka-32A11M transport helicopters, along with exhibitions of new engines, air defense systems, and various types of guided munitions.
