que quieren que les diga... para mi es numero puesto el MIG... ya la armada esta recibiendo sus 40 MIG-29K que son muy similares y 100% compatibles con los 35 (en realidad, son practicamente lo mismo, a excepcion quiza del radar si se ofrece al 35 con AESA).. unificar logistica con la armada no es un tema menor.. aparte de que los Indios tienen experiencia de sobra en la operacion de material Ruso, y con el propio Mig-29 que tambien lo poseen..

La Embraer espera vender más aviones militares para India, aprovechando el plano de modernización de las fuerzas de defensa del país. En 2007, la compañía presentó una propuesta para atender al pedido del gobierno indio de nueve aviones multimissão. "Estamos esperando una respuesta del gobierno indio", dijo Sérgio Bellato Alves, director de Marketing y Ventas de la Embraer para Asia - Mercado de Defensa y Gobierno. El ejecutivo participa, en Bangalore, de la 7ª Exposición Internacional Aeroespacial y de Defensa - Aero India 2009. Alves no quiso revelar el valor estimado de la posible encomienda. La Embraer ya vendió cinco jets ejecutivos Legacy 600 para el gobierno indio, siendo cuatro para la Fuerza Aérea Indiana y uno para la Fuerza de Seguridad de las Fronteras. Cada jet vale cerca de US$ 20 millones. El ejecutivo dijo que la empresa ve un buen progreso en el programa de aviones militares para el gobierno indio. Bajo el programa, la compañía brasileña entregará tres jets EMB 145 AEW&C (Alerta Aéreo Anticipado y Control, en la sigla en inglés), equipados con avanzados sistemas electrónicos que serán desarrollados por la Organización para Investigaciones y Desarrollo de Defensa (DRDO, en la sigla en inglés) de India. "Estamos en la fase de dibujo del programa, recibiendo las especificaciones de la DRDO para las modificaciones de los jets", afirmó Alves. La entrega del primero jet EMB 145 para el gobierno indio está programada para 2011. "Hay un mercado para el proyecto (con la DRDO)", dijo Alves. "Se fuéremos bien sucedidos en suministrar a la DRDO una buena plataforma y la DRDO pudiere venir con un buen radar y un buen sistema de comando y control, habrá espacio para el gobierno indio exportar eso", afirmó el ejecutivo. Además de los segmentos de defensa y de gobierno, la Embraer ya está presente en el mercado indio de jets ejecutivos y comerciales. Las informaciones son de Dow Jones.

Russia is prepared to fight for the highly lucrative arms market of India. Delhi will assign $35 billion for the five-year program to completely rearm the national armed forces. A third of this amount falls for aviation. About $10.4 billion is to be spent on purchasing 126 up-to-date fighter jets. Several other billion dollars will be used to acquire 197 light helicopters.

India has become one of the largest arms importers during the recent years due to the nation’s complicated relations with Pakistan. A third Indo-Pakistan war may break out at any moment. Foreign companies get ready to fight for the Indian billions. France’s Rafale, Europe’s Eurofighter, Sweden’s Gripen and USA’s F-16 and F-18 will be a serious competition for Russia.

Russia’s Sukhoi already conducts cooperation with India : the nation launched the licensed production of Su-30MKI fighters in 2004. However, Russia has another trump card to win a possible contract – the MiG-35 fighter, which will be unveiled at Aero India 2009 air show.

MiG-35 is outfitted with aviation electronics of new generation, including a powerful radar. The aircraft also has optoelectronic systems to fight air and ground targets, a powerful defense complex and latest airborne weapons.

“MiG-35 is virtually a new modification of the old fighter, but it is quite competitive. Its low price and technical advantages leave Western rivals behind,” Konstantin Sivkov of the Academy for Geopolitical Problems told Pravda.ru. “It would also be better for India to buy this fighter for compatibility reasons. The political aspect and the foreign orientation of the political leadership play the most important role on the market of arms. The future tender will test the political orientation of India ,” the expert said.

Russia has all chances to sign the contract with India at this point. The two countries have been maintaining friendly relations with each other for many years. One should not forget the ties between Russia’s MiG Corporation and its Indian partners either. MiG fighters originally appeared in India in 1963, whereas MiG-21 used to be the basic aircraft of the Indian Air Force for years.

The cooperation continues today as well. India’s navy receives the MiG-29K/KUB carrier fighter on a regular basis. The personnel of the Indian Air Force undergoes the technical training in Russia . To crown it all, MiG modernizes India’s MiG fighters and supplies them with necessary spare parts.

LA INDIA RECIBE A LOS PRIMEROS CUATRO CAZAS MIG-29

La India ha recibido a los primeros cuatro aviones de combate Mig-29 KUB y los demás serán entregados por Rusia durante el año en curso, declaró el vicepresidente de la Corporación Aeronáutica Unificada MiG, Mijaíl Pogosián. El anuncio fue realizado por Pogosián en Bangalore donde se celebra el Salón Internacional Aero India 2009. En virtud del contrato firmado entre la Corporación MiG y las Fuerzas Navales de la India, la parte rusa suministrará 12 aviones monoplaza MiG-29K y cuatro aviones biplaza MiG-29KUB. Estas unidades formaran parte a futuro del nuevo portaviones que incorporará la India, el ex Almirante Gorskov.

These Embraer slides shows the dramatic evolution of their jet-powered C-130 replacement concept from relatively simple E190 spin-off to a virtually all-new aircraft with perhaps a common cockpit. And are those CFM56 turbofans under the wing?
