The current technical condition of the complexes and the degree of their combat readiness are unknown. The request for a commercial proposal for upgrading the S-125 air defense system to the C-125 Pechora-2M version was received a long time ago, the status of the program is not known;- purchase of Tor-M1 missile systems (the application was received a long time ago, the status of the program is not known);- purchase of S-300 SAM (no delivery data available).It should be noted that there is still no accurate data on which type of S-300 SAM was ordered by Syria in 2010 (according to a number of sources - S-300PMU-1).Presumably, deliveries under this contract should be completed no earlier than mid-2014. After the delivery, commissioning and comprehensive testing of the functioning of all equipment that is part of the S-300 SAM, it will take at least half a year to train Syrian specialists, even if they have already undergone an internship in Russia. Therefore, the achievement of full combat readiness of the Syrian S-300 SAMs (if they are still delivered) can not be expected until the end of 2014 - early 2015.</blockquote>
