[HEADING=2]The F-15 QA pilot stops the fighter jet in the air[/HEADING] 22 de jul. de 2024 The F-15 QA pilot stops the fighter jet in the air, demonstrating superior manoeuvrability, tailslide, and acceleration. I'm thrilled to share the breathtaking flying display I captured of the McDonnell Douglas F-15QA Ababil. The F-15 Eagle, originally developed in the 1970s to replace the F-4 Phantom, has established itself as a dominant air superiority fighter, boasting an incredible record of 104 air-to-air kills without a single loss. The Eagle has evolved into various roles, including the multi-role F-15E Strike Eagle and the newest F-15EX Eagle II, which continues to supplement the USAF’s fleet. The F-15QA Ababil, ordered by the Qatari Emiri Air Force in 2017, is one of the most advanced F-15 variants. It features powerful engines, a digital fly-by-wire system, advanced radar, and additional weapons pylons. The advent of the fly-by-wire system has increased the aircraft's agility and allows aerobatic maneuvers previously unavailable to the F-15, including the tail slide, which is the main highlight of this video. The F-15's superior maneuverability and acceleration are achieved through its high engine thrust-to-weight ratio and low-wing loading. At RIAT 2024, Boeing presented two F-15QAs in Qatari Emiri Air Force colors.
