The 1982 guys a couple of times (when focused, from middle May exclusively on MPA duties) monitored incoming SHARs and, of course, they reversed course and run away (well, not very fast)On an informal chat, years ago, a retired British Admiral told one of the Tracker guys that the Royal Navy tried 17 times to intercept Tracker flights.
