del Pacto de Varsovia y del tercer mundo la posibilidad de tener un caza supersonico a un precio razonablemente economico</span><span style="font-family: 'Verdana'">, pero en combates en Vietnam nunca tuvieron superioridad numérica, esa la tenia la USAF, sin embargo los pilotos vietnamitas dieron buena cuenta de muchos aviones estadounidense, este hecho forzó la creación de la escuela "Top Gun" para la armada o US Navy y el cuerpo de Marines, la USAF creo su escuela de combate y hacen ejercicios rutinarios con otras fuerzas aéreas, en los ejercicios "Red Flag", solo montando grandes operaciones como la "Bolo" donde en pocas horas y en un solo día derribaron varios MiG-21, dejando a la Fuerza Aérea Vietnamita en una situación precaria y con pocos cazas efectivo, para eso necesitaron casi el triple de los cazas que disponía Vietnam,se hablo de menos de una docena, sin contar que los servicios de inteligencia israelí se hicieron de uno de los primeros MiG-21F13 de Iraq, lo que permitió dar un vistazo y probar en combate disimilar contra otros cazas, ese ejemplar fue enviado a USA para mas pruebas y análisis, de donde se obtuvo la data de las fortalezas y debilidades del mismo. cuando entran en combate en el "Pearl Harbor" del medio oriente o la guerra de los Seis Días, los pilotos judíos contaban con amplias ventajas sobre sus oponentes árabes equipados con el MiG-21, lo conocían al detalle y solo aceptaban el combate cuando las condiciones les eran favorables a sus Mirage IIIC, luego combatirían con el enorme y sofisticado McDonnell Douglas F-4E Phantom a
