Este fue el diseño que realizaron los ingenieros de Messerschmit e intentaron perfeccionar, sin conseguirlo, los diseñadores de la Blohm und Voss. Garber Facility del Smithsonian en Maryland. Se puede ver en el fondo los fuselajes de un Mosquito y el de un Ju-388L.
