Following the contract awarded by the United States Department of Defense in February, the Canadian company Top Aces has confirmed and detailed the training services it will provide for F-16 Fighting Falcon pilots of the Argentine Air Force. The announcement was made today by the company, offering further details regarding the scope of the training program that will be delivered.
Currently, Top Aces is one of the leading private providers of advanced adversary and training services for the United States Air Force and allied air forces. With two decades of experience in the military aviation sector and headquartered in Quebec, Canada, the company provides not only pilot training and operational instruction but also aircraft systems support, instructors, aircraft maintenance services, and ground support equipment.

With this background, and following the award from last February, today the company confirmed “…the awarding of a multi-year contract for a value of 33.2 million dollars to provide F-16 Fighting Falcon pilot training to the Argentine Air Force (“FAA”).”
Adding: “The contract was awarded by the 338th Enterprise Sourcing Squadron (ESS) and will be managed by the U.S. Air Force Security Assistance Training Squadron (AFSAT).”
At the same time, regarding the services and scope of the contract awarded in its favor, it was indicated that this covered the entire spectrum of instruction for the F-16 Fighting Falcon weapons system, including from the Basic Course (B-course) for initial qualification, to Mission Qualification Training, the qualification as flight lead (Flight Lead Upgrade) and the qualification as instructor pilot (Instructor Pilot Upgrade).

They also highlight that the duration of two years of the contract, which will be delivered at bases of the Argentine Air Force, has the option of an extension for one additional year, guaranteeing that the training service provided to Argentina and to its new Halcones is adapted to the requirements of the institution.
“Top Aces feels honored to have been selected by the Argentine Air Force to develop this advanced air power capability,” indicated Steve Haase, president of the Top Aces group in the United States. “Our instructor pilots have an extensive trajectory in the United States Air Force, each with more than 20 years of service and an average exceeding 2,300 flight hours in the F-16 Fighting Falcon. After having built from zero a complete operational structure based on the F-16, Top Aces is in a unique position to train the next generation of Argentine combat leaders on its new and highly capable F-16 platform.”

Lastly, and although the focus of this latest contract is centered on the training of pilots, Top Aces has also been supporting other stages and phases of the Peace Condor program centered on the qualification and training of technical personnel of the Argentine Air Force, as evidenced by the carrying out of courses for Argentine personnel during 2025 in the city of Mesa, Arizona. In that location, the personnel verified firsthand the state of progress of the general course and of the specializations delivered by the company to train the first Argentine technical group.
