As it prepares to begin aircraft production for the upcoming year 2026, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) continues making progress in delivering new combat aircraft to the Russian Aerospace Forces. This was confirmed by the consortium through the delivery of what would be the seventh and, presumably, final batch of Sukhoi Su-34 Fullback fighter-bombers for 2025.
As previously noted, the Su-34 (NATO designation: Fullback) is currently the most advanced platform specialized in attack missions, close air support, and tactical bombing in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces. Highly valued by troops on the ground, the fighter-bomber fleet has been suffering attrition from the conflict, which is approaching its fourth anniversary since its outbreak.

For this reason, production plants under UAC have been working on the manufacturing and delivery of new units, the most recent of which was recorded just days ago. Although no further details or the number of aircraft included in this batch were provided, this appears to be the seventh lot supplied to the Russian Ministry of Defence for assignment to VKS Aviation Regiments.
Throughout the current year, 2025, deliveries under similar conditions have been recorded during the months of April, July, August, September, and October.
“We are completing the 2025 production program as scheduled and have already begun work on next year’s aircraft. UAC companies are maintaining a high production rate of combat equipment, fulfilling their commitments to the Russian Aerospace Forces. This year has been one of the most productive in terms of the number of operational-tactical aviation aircraft delivered,” said Vadim Badekha, Director General of UAC.

Lastly, while the production focus remains on supplying the Aerospace Forces, the Russian military-industrial complex is also in the process of reaching an important milestone in terms of its export potential, as it continues moving forward in parallel with the future delivery of Su-34s to the Algerian Air Force, under a broader agreement that would also include Sukhoi Su-35 fighters and even the fifth-generation Su-57 Felon.
