Over the course of yesterday, the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) announced that it has completed the manufacture and delivery of a new batch of Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Aerospace Forces, thus allowing them to recover some of their losses in the ongoing war in Ukraine. According to official channels, this batch of aircraft is part of the State Defense Order as one of the most in-demand platforms, with Russian pilots highlighting its capability to deploy a wide and advanced range of weaponry for the combat missions in which they participate.

Expanding on some details, UAC stated that the new batch of fighter-bombers underwent a series of evaluations prior to delivery to the Aerospace Forces, including ground testing and flight trials. During these tests, its ability to conduct strikes against both aerial targets and large, heavily defended ground structures at long distances was validated, and to a lesser extent, to contribute to battlefield reconnaissance missions.

Quoting some official statements on the matter, we can cite Vadim Badekha, current General Director of UAC: “The UAC team is effectively addressing the challenges involved in supplying combat aircraft to the Russian military. Our plant employees maintain a high production pace, delivering the planned volumes on schedule within the framework of the State Defense Order program. The engineers of the Sukhoi Design Bureau continue to improve the systems of existing aircraft, even based on the results of their use in combat during special military operations. This allows us to make our aircraft even more effective in meeting current and future challenges.”

On the other hand, it should be mentioned that the company did not specify in its official statement the number of Su-34 aircraft included in the recently delivered batch, but analysts who examined the published images noted that they show at least two aircraft. Moreover, it has been stated that this new batch is the sixth received by the Aerospace Forces so far this year, with previous deliveries having taken place in April, July, August, September, and October. It is expected that this will not be the last delivery before 2026, although available reports do not yet specify when the next one will occur.
