The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) continues steadily with the delivery of new Sukhoi Su-34 fighter-bombers to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). This follows the most recent handover of combat aircraft recorded in October — the fifth so far in 2025.
As of today, and within the context of the war in Ukraine, the Su-34 stands as the most advanced attack, tactical bomber, and close air support platform in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces. This is evidenced not only by the appreciation shown by troops in the operational theater but, more importantly, by the Russian Ministry of Defense itself, which has issued several orders that are currently being fulfilled by UAC.

Accordingly, the aviation and production plants that make up UAC have completed several Su-34 deliveries throughout 2025, recorded in April, July, August, and September, with a fifth delivery added at the beginning of October.

In this regard, UAC General Director Vadim Badekha stated: “UAC companies maintain a high pace of combat equipment production, fulfilling their commitments to the Russian Aerospace Forces. This will not be the last delivery of the year. Our factory employees are constantly improving production processes to ensure the required aircraft manufacturing volumes according to the needs of the Russian Ministry of Defense.”
It should also be noted that the production of new Su-34s is no longer limited solely to the Russian Aerospace Forces but also includes fulfilling ongoing export orders. This is reflected in the upcoming delivery of fighter-bombers to the Algerian Air Force, with several aircraft — featuring a distinctive desert camouflage scheme — undergoing flight testing in the city of Zhukovsky, located in Moscow Oblast.

Finally, regarding the Algerian order, leaked documentation from previous years indicated that production plans for aircraft intended for foreign customers set the number at 14 units that could be manufactured for the Algerian Air Force. However, in the absence of official confirmation, the final figure has yet to be revealed.
