At AUSA 2025, SMARTSHOOTER, known for developing intelligent fire-control systems, presented the new generation of its SMASH family, which includes the SMASH 2000L, the SMASH Hopper Light Remotely Controlled Weapon Station (LRCWS), and SMASH Dome.
These solutions, designed to increase precision and effectiveness at the tactical level, are established as some of the most advanced technologies in their segment. The SMASH systems integrate artificial intelligence, computer vision, and automatic tracking algorithms that allow them to detect, track, and neutralize both ground and aerial threats, including drones and small UAS. Once a target is identified, the system locks on and synchronizes the shot at the optimal moment, ensuring a high hit rate even against moving targets.

In 2025, SMARTSHOOTER was selected by the U.S. Army to be integrated into its Transformation In Contact (TIC 2.0) program, and by the U.S. Marine Corps as an individual counter-sUAS solution. With these incorporations, the SMASH 2000L is already operational in multiple U.S. units and NATO allied forces.
The SMASH systems can be integrated with sensors and battle-management platforms, such as the U.S. Marine Corps’ MAGTAB, enabling real-time transmission of target and friendly-force information directly to the operator’s visor. This integration increases situational awareness and accelerates the squad-level decision cycle.

The company’s CEO, Michal Mor, stated that the recent contracts with U.S. armed forces validate the system’s reliability: “These agreements are a strong confirmation of the operational value and reliability of our SMASH systems. We are expanding our presence in the U.S., with new maintenance and support capabilities to respond to the growing needs of American forces.”
SMASH systems have been combat-tested and deployed by several military branches and NATO countries. With its U.S. headquarters in Herndon, Virginia, SMARTSHOOTER continues expanding its industrial presence in the country, driving the integration of advanced solutions that combine precision, interoperability, and immediate response on the modern battlefield.
