The International AUSA 2025 Fair (Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting & Exposition) began this Monday at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C., once again consolidating itself as one of the most important events in the Western Hemisphere in terms of systems and technology for armies.

Over the next three days —from October 13 to 15— more than 44,000 attendees, 750 exhibitors, and official delegations from 92 countries will gather in the U.S. capital. The event serves as a key platform to understand the strategic priorities of the United States Army and the technological advancements shaping the future of land warfare. Under the motto “The Gold Standard Defense Industry Event,” the fair aims to strengthen cooperation among armed forces, industry, and innovation centers, offering a venue for exchanging insights on trends in robotics, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, air defense, armored vehicles, cybersecurity, and advanced training. For this edition, panels and conferences will focus on the transformation of the U.S. Army, a process undergoing its most extensive structural review in over four decades.

Discussions will be led by top officials from the Department of the Army and the U.S. Army Futures Command, with the goal of outlining how land forces must adapt to new technological and geopolitical dynamics. AUSA 2025 will also serve as the stage for presenting key programs tied to Army modernization, such as the Future Vertical Lift, new long-range artillery systems, next-generation C4ISR solutions, and the development of next-generation combat vehicles.

In addition, innovations in immersive simulation, advanced sensors, and smart munitions will be showcased. Zona Militar will once again be present to bring the main highlights of the exposition, including interviews with industry representatives and authorities, the unveiling of new land systems, and the international activities that form part of the United States Army’s cooperation agenda with allied armed forces.

Coverage in progress.
