With the presence of more than twenty delegations, the UNITAS 2025 exercise will officially conclude with a ceremony to be held shortly at Naval Station Norfolk, Virginia. The event, which will be attended by a Zona Militar team, will take place aboard the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman (CVN 75).

Over the past few weeks, UNITAS 2025 has integrated air-naval, amphibious, and surface operations involving delegations from 26 nations. The activities covered a wide range of scenarios, including naval gunnery and anti-submarine warfare exercises, as well as amphibious operations and the deployment of Marine and special operations units.
In this latest edition of the UNITAS exercise, the Argentine Navy participated with the destroyer ARA La Argentina (D-11), an AS-555 SN Fennec helicopter, and personnel from the Marine Corps and the Naval Special Operations Forces Command. Over the last two weeks, Argentine personnel and assets trained alongside hundreds of service members from Germany, Belize, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, the United States, France, Greece, Guatemala, Honduras, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, the Netherlands, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, and the Dominican Republic.

The closing ceremony of UNITAS aboard the USS Harry S. Truman marks the culmination of the latest edition of one of the world’s oldest and most significant air-naval exercises. As in previous occasions, UNITAS 2025 served to strengthen interoperability among regional naval forces and to foster camaraderie within a framework of multinational cooperation.
Developing story.
