After finalizing the last preparations, today, May 12, marks the opening day of the 2025 edition of the FEINDEF International Defense and Security Fair, which is drawing a significant turnout in Madrid, Spain, to showcase to the world the latest advancements in Armed Forces and Security at both the European and international levels.

Since its first edition in 2019, and with the continued support of the Spanish Ministry of Defense, as well as public and private organizations, the International Defense and Security Fair of Spain has established itself as a new and important European event, reaching new milestones in attendance and relevance with each edition.

The venue provided by IFEMA Madrid, which offers an exhibition space of 66,690 m², reflects the growing importance this initiative has gained year after year. This year’s edition features a total of 601 exhibitors from around the world, including a strong presence of Spanish companies, 91 international delegations, 61 countries represented, 7 international pavilions, 187 international exhibitors, 9 official organizations, and 109 accredited media outlets, with Zona Militar standing out among them..

With this growing significance, Zona Militar is covering the event with correspondents on the ground, renewing our commitment to the local, regional, and international audience that has made us the most-read Defense and Security media outlet in Latin America — fully established and expanding into new regions.

Throughout the three days of FEINDEF, from May 12 to 14, we will aim to bring you the latest developments emerging from the fair and give voice to its key players, including major Spanish defence companies such as Navantia, Indra, TESS Defence, Urovesa, and many other medium and small enterprises contributing to the continued development of Spain’s Defense and Security Industrial Complex. We will also report on the latest milestones achieved by the Spanish Ministry of Defense and the country’s Armed Forces.
