As part of LAAD 2025, currently taking place in Rio de Janeiro, the Russian state agency Rosoboronexport is showcasing a portfolio of next-generation military systems, highlighting the export version of the stealth fighter Su-57E. This fifth-generation aircraft, already in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces, stands out as one of the consortium’s flagship products, now offering highly advanced air combat capabilities for Latin American forces.

As previously reported by Zona Militar, the Russian state agency, in collaboration with United Aircraft Corporation (UAC), has carried out various global initiatives to promote the Su-57 as Russia’s most advanced fighter, recently exhibiting it at China’s Zhuhai Air Show and AeroIndia. Following the recent acquisition of the Sukhoi by Algeria, Rosoboronexport has expressed its interest in establishing a presence in the Latin American market, particularly in Brazil.

Alongside the Su-57E, the company is also exhibiting other high-profile systems such as the Il-76MD-90A(E) strategic transport aircraft, the Mi-171Sh and Ka-52E attack and transport helicopters, and the Su-35 multirole fighter, also acquired by Algeria. The latter is produced in the same aviation plant as the Sukhoi Su-57. These aircraft incorporate a series of technological innovations, notably the new AL-41F1S engines, as well as upgrades to avionics and radar systems.

In the land segment, Rosoboronexport is presenting the T-90MS tank, a modernized version of the T-90, featuring significant improvements in armor, firepower, and control systems. For air defense, the S-350E VITYAZ systems are among the highlights. In the naval domain, the Russian pavilion features the Project 22160 patrol ship and the BK-16E and BK-10 assault boats.
