Having departed just hours earlier on the flight that will soon bring them to Argentina, the first F-16 fighters of the Air Force completed their first stopover on their journey after landing in Zaragoza, Spain. In total, this initial batch consists of six aircraft: two single-seat F-16AM and four two-seat F-16BM, which took off during the early morning (Argentine time) from Vojens Airport in Denmark.

Thanks to images circulating on social media, as well as those officially shared moments ago by the Ministry of Defense of the Argentine Republic, the respective tail numbers of the aircraft that arrived in Zaragoza can be seen. These correspond to the four aforementioned F-16BM, registered as “M1004/05/07/08,” along with the two single-seat F-16AM, registered as “M1009” and “M1020.”
Additionally, as part of the support provided by various Air Force assets, the fighter formations—organized into two groups of three aircraft—are being accompanied on their journey to Argentina by the Boeing 737 T-99 “Islas Malvinas” and the KC-130H Hercules TC-69, both of which had been deployed in Denmark for several days.

Finally, with their first stopover completed, the formation of Argentine F-16s is expected to take off again shortly, heading toward the Canary Islands. As for their arrival date in Argentina, it has been set for December 5, when the aircraft will land at Área Material Río Cuarto in the province of Córdoba.
