Orbit Communication Systems surges in defense market with $36.7 million in key contracts for Advanced Communication Solutions

Israeli company Orbit communication’s is riding high on the soaring international demand for advanced communication systems for armed forces.

For military organizations looking to stay competitive in modern warfare, upgrading military communication technologies is critical. Although there are obstacles in striking a balance between cost and performance, implementing modernized communication systems has several benefits, such as better situational awareness, increased security, and improved tactical capabilities.

Orbit Communication Systems, a leading global provider of maritime and airborne SATCOM terminals, tracking ground station solutions, and mission-critical airborne audio management systems, has recently secured significant contracts totaling $36.7 million, solidifying its position in the defense market.

The company finalized an agreement with the Israeli Ministry of Defense for supplying advanced communication systems valued at approximately $16.6 million. Additionally, a $16.5 million frame contract was secured with the US Air Force for the upgrade, service, and maintenance of Orbit’s Airborne Digital Audio System (ADAS) communications management systems in KC-135 aircraft. This contract spans an additional 60 months, emphasizing Orbit's commitment to ensuring high-level maintenance and performance of advanced communication systems.

In addition, Orbit received a $3.6 million order from a leading European integrator for satellite communication systems for naval military platforms. The OceanTRx4 systems included in the order will provide continuous broadband satellite connectivity to a prominent European fleet starting in 2026.

Daniel Eshchar, CEO of Orbit, said that these three contracts reaffirms the acknowledgment of the company’s technology reliability and superior performance.
